Default how do i make sure that an excel workbook cannot be hacked

I am trying to make an Excel workbook that will be distrubed to others unable
to be hacked into so the data being used cannot be viewed or hacked by others

Good morning P Evetts

Can't be done I'm afraid. Excel is not secure, and has never been
advertised as such. There are a number of security settings within
Excel that offer protection against inadvertant erasure / change of
information. If you have something that shouldn't be seen by others,
don't save it in Excel. If you really really must, I suppose you could
use a third party program to encrypt / decrypt the file prior to opening
it...

A pain in the arse, but that's Excel for you.
