Default How can I save an editable copy of a protected excel workbook?

I received a copy of an excel workbook that is password protected. I would
like to save a copy of the workbook that I am able to edit. I am using Excel

Do you know the password? If so, unprotect it and save it with a different
name. If not, you'll have to get the password from the person who set it, or
buy a program that can crack passwords. A google search would turn up some
options.
