![]() Hello, I was hoping to use conditional formatting to make a vlookup function that returns an #N/A turn red. Thanks -- Gbonda ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Gbonda's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...fo&userid=8758 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=398687 |

![]() Select the cell you want to appy the Conditional Formatting to and click FormatConditional Formatting... for Condition 1 select Formula Is: and enter this: =ISNA($A$1) Click Format and pick your color on the Font tab (or fill color from the Patterns tab) and click OK twice... Of course adjust the cell reference $A$1 to meet your needs... Does that work for you? ![]() Trust me, if you followed my instructions, it WILL work. Are you sure your cell is returning a true #N/A result? Did you adjust the cell reference from $A$1 to the cell that has the VLOOKUP FORMULA? What is your VLOOKUP formula? Are you applying the CF to the cell with the VLOOKUP formula? More details, please. -- swatsp0p ------------------------------------------------------------------------ swatsp0p's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=15101 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=398687 |
