Default how to convert gedcom into HTML?

Is there a simple way to use FrontPage or other office program to create a
family tree drawing out of GEDCOM file? (GEDCOM is the format used in
genealogy software).
I can also export the GEDCOM to excel, so if the answer for the above is
"no" - can I create a tree out of the excel and build web page per line of
excel, while each lin of excel incldues name, birth date, address etc.

Thanks
Yigal

The software you use to keep track of your genealogy would certainly
have the ability to create HTML files. Think twice about what you put on
the internet -- I have no guidelines, but keep in mind that some of the "security"
questions with credit card companies and banks is date of birth, and
mother's maiden name. Even though the information is on public record
financial institutions are treating this and your social security number as
only information that you would know. Detailed census data that is
identifiable to individuals is not available for 80 years for privacy. (the
number of years may be wrong but it is supposed to be longer than
most people live or be concerned).

Hi David

Thanks. I take this seriously, so I think I will take off the birth date.
many women wouldn't liket any way.

As for the HTML convertion: you would be surprize with the answer: FTM, the
leading SW, doesn't give this option of HTML. There are many freewares, but
they give bad graphics and no support for non-english language. So I want to
design my pwn web pages and drive the info from excel table. Do you have any
idea how to do it?
Assume each individual will have a line and I want to have one tamplate
which will use the data in the excel table to show the information.

Hi

Again - yes, I looked in help and was in contact with tech support of FTM.
And yes: I know all the ged2html utilities. Theyt are not good enough for me.
Being in Excel forum, I would like to use the Excel powerfull macro
capabilities and easy export to HTML of office tools. Any advise in this
direction?
