Wish list for Excel

I am doing a spreadsheet on the NCAA basketball tournament. Air Force has
played 3 games in 3 different years. Kentucky has played 140 games in 47
different years.

Two things I wish Excel had a
1. I would like to be able to highlight a line of cells (such as A7-K7 then
A14-K14 then A87-K87) then be able to highlight columns A-K then go to €œData€�
then €œSort€� by column A and it would sort each group (in this case Schools)
in between the brakes. Would also like to be able to Sum or Average on the
brake line.
2. Now I am having to highlight each schools data and sort by column A
(which is date) then by column C (which is the round). Then on the next
group the Sort may have gone back showing the first row as being a header and
not keeping the second sort. When I sign in to my mail there is a little box
I can check to save my password to this computer. When you are doing a lot
of sorts that are alike it would be nice to be able to save your sort.

In other spreadsheets I would like to be able to copy a row and then be able
to paste that list into a column.

I believe you 'Wish List' has been completely furnished for years:

1- You might look into the use of Pivot Tables for the type of data analysis
suggested in your post... Although it sounds like your data is not set up as
a valid data range,

2- For returning to any data/window arrangement, look into creating Custom
Views or the use of simple macros assigned to toolbar buttons or as menu
commands as well as other options that may be available,

3- Try copying a column or row, then use EditPaste Special, Transpose to
paste a column as a row or vice-versa. (You'll be surprised at the other
possibilities available in that dialog box as well.)

No offense, and I truly don't mean any sarcasm, but perhaps the first thing
at the top of your 'Wish List' should be some training on how to use the
program.
