Hi
I am trying to enter more than three conditional formats on particular cells on my spreadsheet. Excel help says I can only have three, is there a way around this?? Thanks for any help. Martin |

If you want up to 6 formats (font color only), see
http://www.mcgimpsey.com/excel/conditional6.html Otherwise you'll need to use VBA. There are thousands of examples in the archives: http://groups.google.com/advanced_gr...ugroup=*excel* In article , "Martc" wrote: I am trying to enter more than three conditional formats on particular cells on my spreadsheet. ![]() Good afternoon Martc You can download a free add-in called CFPlus which will handle thirty formats. Not being a fan of conditional formatting I have never actually used it, but if you do decide to try it please post back your thoughts as this question crops up constantly... http://www.xldynamic.com/source/xld.....Download.html HTH DominicB -- dominicb ------------------------------------------------------------------------ dominicb's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=18932 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=380823 |
