I would like to know if there is a way to protect or lock a worksheet, inside
a workbook, so that other users cannot even open the worksheet. I am familiar with how to password protect a worksheet so users cannot edit or modify locked cells, however, I would like to keep other users from even going into the other worksheets within the workbook. I have not yet found a method for doing so. Or is there a way to "hide" a worksheet within the workbook so that other users cannot see it? |

![]() Good afternoon J Robinson You could use the xlVeryHidden function, which is normally only accessible from the VBE (alt + F11, look in the properties window). You could then lock the VBE for that particular workbook and password protect it. The only way for MOST users to access this sheet would be to know your password and use it from the VBE. However, nothing in Excel is so secure that it cannot be circumvented without the password by someone with a fair amount of knowledge. The motto - if you want to protect a deep, dark secret, don't trust it to Excel...
