Press Ctrl H Find what (Press ALt key and simultaneoulsly type 0160 ) replace with (leave this blank) replace all This will remove the trailing spaces that sometimes do not go away by using the value & trim functions "Duane" wrote in message ... I am importing reports from a website. All the numbers come with a space after the last number, so it is not recognised as a number by excel. what is the easiest way to remove this space so I can work with the numbers? eg. 6502<space (it is one space, and always to the right of the number) |
