Default FV annuity compounding

I have checked the "Annutiy Calculator" template but i'm calculating an
annuity with monthly deposits but quarterly compounding. The FV function
requires the payment and compounding periods being the same.

See my response and additional discussion in follow-ups to your similar
posting in "Worksheet Functions".

And please do not "multipost" in the future. It bifurcates discussion,
causing confusion and duplication of effort.

Yup, been there, done that ;-). When that happens, I try to remember to
explain (apologize for) my potential duplicate posting in the second
posting. And I would not choose to repost in another "discussion group"
just for that reason.

However, a "common" source of my duplicate postings, rarely though they may
be, is a situation that arises in Outlook Express. If it gets a network
error during transmission, the posting will remain in my Outbox folder.
Seeing that and not seeing OE retrying in a timely manner, I might open the
message and manually press Send again. I discovered recently that that
might coincide with OE retrying the send automagically, resulting in a
duplicate posting. I don't know how patient to be with OE.

No big deal. But since your second posting seemed to be 40 min later, I
think there was ample time for you to see your original posting in the
"Worksheet Functions" group.
