Dates are just numbers (number of days since 0-Jan-1900) so you can do
simple subtractions. E.g,

=IF(TODAY()-DATE(2010,4,5)=5,"Out Of Spec","OK")

Hi,
you have the production dates on columnB and in C you want a formula to tell
you if product is out of standard , so enter

=IF(TODAY()-B210,"OUT OF STANDARD","")
