Default Sort second level doesn't work

I have Windows XP and Office 2007. When I select a range in Excel 2007 and
want to have it sort first by the values in Column A and then by the values
in Column B, I bring up the Sort window and tell it to do so, but then it
only sorts on Column A. How can I get it to do hierarchical sorts?
