Excel crashed and 'recovered' a worksheet and in the process removed critical
indents on over 25,000 records, the indents which are being used for a critical final stage calculation. Fortuneatly I had run an 'Indent' function to store the values so the actual indents didn't matter anymore. However i noticed as I made changes (e.g. removed a sheet, saved) it would recalculate the entire workbook. SO I set Calculations to Manual. Which to me means. Manual. Now I made additions to a sheet and am saving and Excel, thinking somehow Manual means Excel Manual keeps rerunning the Indent script which is re-setting the critically previously correct indent values to 0. Can't I just save and/or make changes without Excel AUTOMATICALLY recalculating since I am asking to MANUALLY recalculate???? |
