I was hoping I could give someone access to be able to have read/write access
to just one worksheet within a workbook and not have write acess on any other
worksheet. Is this possible?

For all other sheets:
tools - protection - protect worksheet. Your choice if you want to set a
password

Do note that this protection is fairly weak. If the user really wants to
write onto the worksheet, the worksheet/workbook protection passwords can be
cracked with publicly available macros within minutes. This approach should
only be used if you are wanting to help keep someone from accidentally
overwriting important info.
