Default vacation

I have two files. One is monthly vacation schedule and other one is weekly
schedule. What I want to do is if I enter a name in monthly vacation I want
that to be show also in weekly shedule.

For eg. If I enter ganga on the 30th of nov(vacation schedule) I want to say
€œvac€ on nov 30th in weekly schedule.

Thank you in advance

Ganga -

You haven't given us much to go on, but you can always reference a cell in
one worsheet from another. So if you enter your information on the monthly
worksheet, you can have a reference to that cell in your weekly worksheet.
Just clock on the cell in the weekly worksheet (e.g. Nov 30), type an equal
sign (=), and then navigate to the monthly worksheet and click on the
corresponding cell (e.g. Nov 31).
