Default formula to change cell colour

I would like to colour a cell of the one I am looking at i.e. change cell CF6
to black if BF6="GAL".

Default formula to change cell colour

You can try conditional formatting

1. Select the cell CF6
2. From menu FormatConditional Formatting
3. For Condition1Select 'Formula Is' and enter the below formula

=BF6="GAL"

4. Click Format ButtonPattern and select your color (say Red)
5. Hit OK
