Hi. I need some help with Microsoft Office Excel 2003, professional. My
company is using Windows XP SP2. One of my users seem to be using a different version to everyone else. It still comes up as MS Office Excel 2003 SP2 but the version number is 11.6560.8172, everyone else is using 11.6560.6568. I did a search on technet and it seems that the version ending 8172 is for SP3. I've tried uninstalling office and reinstalling, but the problem is still there. At the moment this user is having difficulties with processing calculations on excel (he uses heavy spreadsheets), yet when the same spreadsheets are opened up on someone else's machine with Excel version 11.6560.6568, it works fine. Could it be something in registry that i didnt remove when i reinstalled Office that is causing the installation of version 11.6560.8172? Thanks |

If you go to the Add/Remove programs, do you see a service pack 3 download?
You should be able to delete the service pack 3 download individually. "Hok Wong" wrote: Hi. I need some help with Microsoft Office Excel 2003, professional. My company is using Windows XP SP2. No. There is no indication from Add/Remove Programs that SP3 has been
installed. "Sean Timmons" wrote: If you go to the Add/Remove programs, do you see a service pack 3 download? You should be able to delete the service pack 3 download individually.
