Occasionally when I am working in a spreadsheet (Excel 2007), the cursor
becomes "stuck" and when I try to click on another cell, the result is to highlight a range of cells with the "stuck" cell being the anchor of the range. Clicking on other cells around the anchor cell changes the range, but does not resolve the problem. This has happened several times, but I cannot identify what I'm doing to cause the problem. I usually wind up pressing random keys until the problem is resolved. (I don't use a mouse -- only the touchpad on my laptop, so there's no scroll button to stick). |
