Well, you can stop Excel from automatically converting email addresses
to hyperlinks.

Tools Options Spelling click 'AutoCorrect Options AutoFormat
As You Type uncheck 'Internet and network paths with hyperlinks'

If you want to delete the hyperlinks...........not the contents, run this
macro.
