Is conditional formatting handled diffrently in a pivot table?

The problem with using conditional formatting in a pivot table is that
if the fields are rearranged, the conditional formatting doesn't move with them. It stays on the cells that were originally formatted. excel_user123456 wrote: Is conditional formatting handled diffrently in a pivot table? -- Debra Dalgleish Excel FAQ, Tips & Book List http://www.contextures.com/tiptech.html |

Hi ####-
As Debra says, the conditional formatting applied to sheet cells that PT's are base on does not carry over to the PT. (Most applied to the detail cells would probably not be appropriate anyway.) To go a little farther, though, you can select cells in the PT, itself, and apply Conditional Formatting to them.
