Default How do I open a simple one-page Lotus 123 file in Excel 2007?

I am trying to open several old Lotus files (.123) to convert them to Excel
2007 but Excel says the files are not in a recognizable format. Any
suggestions on how to get Excel to recognize the file type would be
appreciated.

hi
excel 07 has stopped supporting lotus altogeather.
1. find someone with lotus and save as a .xls file
2. find someone with excel 2000 to 2003 and save as a .xls flie
note .123 lotus files are lotus 2k so i'm don't think xl 97 or earlier
would recognize them.
3. look into aquiring open office. i understand that it supports lotus.
