Default Create formula that combines numbers from multiple workBOOKS?

Can I create formulas that combine values from multiple workbooks (NOT just
worksheets within the same book).

For example, I want the total sales from Workbooks 1,2, 3, and 4 to be
summed up in Workbook 5.
