Default Excel Size ?

Hello,

This is likely more related to my PC or monitor, but as Excel 2007 is the
only program I have this problem with, thought I'd ask.
Running XP.

When Excel opens up, it takes up every bit of my screen, such that there is
no way to grab anything at the very top
(or anywhere) to move it around on the screen, e.g., if I want to see an
icon underneath it.

No other program or document does this.

Just impossible to grab or select any part of it that will allow movement.

Any thoughts on this would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob

Is it possibly opening in Full screen mode? Try going to View, see if it's
active. Bit of a longshot, but I've had it happen to me before.

It sounds like you have Excel open in Full Screen mode. Right click on
any cell and choose Close Full Screen at the bottom of the pop-up
menu.
