a simple sum formula does not appear to be recognizing all of the numbers in
the range as numbers, and, therefore is not adding them to the total. I have tried formatting the column to 'number' but that doesn't help. |

Copy a blank cell.
Select the number range Right clickPasteSpecialselect Add Click OK.. Hi,
If you see green triangles at the top left of some of the cells, select all the cell, put you mouse over one of the cells with a green triangle, to the left you will see a small yellow diamond icon, click it and choose Convert to Number. Once numbers have been entered as text formatting them will not change their data type. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button.
