Dear Ananth
I would suggest to always use the formula for links =HYPERLINK("file:////c:\book1.xls","Book1") If this post helps click Yes --------------- Jacob Skaria "Ananth" wrote: I have a workbook that pulls data from HFM link. When I open the file from the my local desk top the the cells in the worksheet show the link as C:\Program\HFMView\bin\Hstbar.xla When my manager opens the file from the network drive the the cells in the same worksheet show the link as S:\Program\HFMView\bin\Hstbar.xls My Manager becomes furious and says the link is not working and not able to see the results. When I open the file from the Network drive, I find what the manager is saying is correct. What is causing the problem. |
