When I open my spreadsheet the name of the file is displayed at the top
followed by [Group]. Example: Microsoft Excel - Filename [Group] When this happens I cannot filter and many of the data functions are not available. is there a way to turn this off? |

The [Group] indicator means that you have more that one worksheet
selected. When you're in Group mode, any change you make to one grouped sheet is applied to all grouped sheets (which can be a blessing if you intended it, or a disaster if you didn't). The tabs of the grouped sheets all appear in white. To ungroup the sheets, right-click on the tab of one of the grouped sheets and choose "Ungroup".
