Always hang and files corrupt
I am using Excel 2003 & Win XP Pro SP2.
Most of the time, I'm working with files located in the server (our environment is joining the domain). I copied files from server and put in my thumbdrive, make changes on it, and put it back in the server). Other colleagues also make changes to that file which I have put in server earlier. Later when I opened that file from server, all the formatting and formulas has gone. What I can see is only the figures which the formatting is totally out. URGENT. Please help!! |

What type of file are you using. If you have a CSV file then you will loose
the formating. Make surre you have an XLS file type. Also if you are working with diffferent versions of excel you could loose the formating. If you are trying to go baclk and forth between excel 97/2000 and a later versions you could loose the formating. "lad" wrote: I am using Excel 2003 & Win XP Pro SP2.
