Hlookup
I have a problem with my spreadsheet can anyone help.
I have a formula =IF(T3=0,NA(),T4/T3) which I have conditional formatted so that the result #N/A will not show when there is no data in in T4 or T3. This is then picked up in another sheet as =HLOOKUP('Managed Stock'!T$2,'Managed Stock'!$J$2:$AF$46,4,FALSE) but I cannot seem to conditionally format the #N/A on this sheet which appears because there is not yet any data in the original T4/T3. The reason for needing to have #N/A instead of #DIV/0! (which would be the normal error messasge) is because I have a chart taken from the 'Managed Stock' data that I need to stop when it reaches the cells that do not contain data. Otherwise the line in the chart drops straight down to 0. Does anyone know why the conditional formatting will not work on the #N/A in the Hlookup cells. Or if I have the wrong Hlookup formula |
