Default microsoft Excel will not allow me to type anything in the cells

I have previously written in this page, now after i have reopened it to edit
it, it will not allow me to write anything in any of the cells,. Even on a
new page it will not allow me to do anything.

Default microsoft Excel will not allow me to type anything in the cells

Try choosing Tools, Protection, Unprotect Sheet. or in 2007 View, Unprotect
Sheet.

Will it let you select cells? Are you trying to type number or text or
both. If numbers, make sure num Lock is set appropriately.
