This is a new one. I noticed I kept adding data and saving. When I closed
and went back, nothing was saved. Office 2003. Could it have anything to do with a read only excel file opened from the internet? |

If the file is identified in the title bar as Read-only, then it is
read-only which means that you cannot do a save but you could do a SaveAs to your harddrive best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme Microsoft Excel MVP http://people.stfx.ca/bliengme remove caps from email "sussertown" wrote in message ... With files from internet or e-mail or such sources, you should always Save
As to a local drive before you start changing things. Otherwise the file tends to be in Temporary Internet Files and may well disappear. -- David Biddulph "sussertown" wrote in message ...
