Default NetWorkDays - lists as Date??

I've recently been switched to Office 2007 and am puzzled on the networkdays
function in this version of Excel. It's not that the function isn't working,
but if I add a -1 outside the function, the results some out as a date, not a
number...

That's strange.... Has anyone a fix for this or do I have to reformat the
cell as number after I enter the function.....

Thanx
Tom

Yes, when you have calculated a number of days, you need to format it as a
number, not as a date.

In the older version of excel it always came up as a number. It does in
2007, until I add the -1, then it changes to a date.... This is what is
puzzling me

I can verify this happening.

Seems odd but it's just a minor inconvience. Just reformat the cell as
General or Number.
