Suppressing detail rows
Hi
Is there any way I can suppress the details and show only the sub-total for each employee, without going thru each name and hiding or deleting the detail rows? Suppressing detail rows
Set up your print area so that it only covers these six columns. Then
in the next column (G2) you can enter this formula, where I have assumed your data starts on row 2 (with a header row): =IF(A2=A3,"","subtotal") Copy this down to cover your data. Then you can apply Autofilter to this column, and select "subtotal" from the filter drop-down. Hope this helps.
