Default Not Refreshing

When I sign into the newsgroup, its seem that my browser is not refreshing
or updating to the current posts in the newsgroups.

It is staying at 23 Dec 2008 however I try to refresh it.

The web portal to the newsgroups is hosed. Use an actual newsreader to
connect directly to the news server(s) instead.

(of course, you probably won't see this...)
