How do I stop automatic selection of cells in Excel?
Everytime i select a cell in excel, it automatically selects 5 additional
adjacent cells to. How do I stop this? |

Maybe press F8 and turn off extend select?

How do I stop automatic selection of cells in Excel?
Try setting the Zoom level a little lower.
The multiple cell selection is a bug in Excel 2007. The zoom-changing appears to fix it. I don't have 2007 but a few postings have made the suggestion and it seems to work.
