Hi,
Of course you need to be in the formula, not just on the cell. And you need to select a complete cell reference part in the formula, so selecting cell A1 and pressing F4 will not do Absolutes. with the cursor blinking between the S and U in the formula =SUM(A1:A1000) and pressing F4 will not work, selecting A1:A10, (including the comma) in the following formula will not work SUM(A1:A10,B22:B32). remember F4 does 3 different things in Excel so where you are makes all the difference. If this helps, please click the Yes button Cheers, Shane Devenshire "Connie" wrote: In Excel 2003 I used F4 to Switch between relative, absolute, and mixed references. Is there another shortcut to do this in 2007??? |
