Default SUM IF sum of two collumns

I have the following worksheet

COLLUMNS
A EURO/BGN
B PAYMENT EURO A
C PAYMENT BGN A
D PAYMENT EURO B
E PAYMENT BGN B

I WANT TO SUM ALL THE PAYMENT IN EURO (FROM THE COLLUMNS B AND D) IF THE
CRITERIA FROM THE COLUMN A IS EURO
I TRIED BUT I CANNOT DO. WITH SUMIF FUNCTION I CAN ONLY SUM EITHER COLUMN B
OR D, NOT THE TWO OF THEM TOGETHER.
CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME??
