In MS-Excel 2003, its so easy to use Data - Filter - Auto Filter setting.
In MS-Excel 2007, its hard to get around it. How do I go about using Data - Filter - Auto Filter in MS-Excel 2007 without all those prompts that show up? |

Hi,
The autofilter in 2007 is thousands of time better than in 2003. That said, put your cursor in that data and choose Data, and click the big Filter button. You will also get a filter automatically if you define a range as a table - Home, Format as Table. If these are not fast enough press Ctrl+Shift+L this toggles the auto filter on and off. If this helps, click the Yes button. -- Thanks, Shane Devenshire "neostar77" wrote: In MS-Excel 2003, its so easy to use Data - Filter - Auto Filter setting.
