Suddenly my speadsheets stopped printing the colored text and only prints
black. I am using Excel 2003, but found out the same thing is happening with
all of the other staff using different Excel versions. We are printing to
Xerox Workcentre 7655 color printer. I have spent hours researching the web
for an answer and have found none.

Have you looked at your settings in the Excell application --
FILE/PRINT/PROPERTIES and make sure the Black & White checkbox is not checked
under the Print Setup Tab.

Hi,

If it is the same file that is causing the problem, choosing File, Page
Setup, Sheet tab, check Black and white.

If it is happening to all files (check Word, and PowerPoint printouts) then
maybe your printer is out of color toner and somehow switches to black and
white.

That's not it. Word & PowerPoint print color text just fine. It is only Excel
that will not print color text. Any spreadsheet we try will not print color
text. It's not just me, it's everyone in the company that this is happening
to. We have checked our settings and tried everything we can think of.

I found the answer to the problem. I googled it and found this answer and I
am sure this is it. When our IT Manager returns on Monday I am confident he
