Default Excel 2003: Customizing Toolbars

I am trying to customize my toolbars in Excel 2003 (SP3) so that the "autofit
selection" options (both the one for "autofit column" and "autofit row", both
of which are in the "Format" menu) are on there, but I'm finding this
inexplicably impossible.

When I choose "Customize" from the "Toolbars" menu, then select the
"Commands" tab, and then select "Format" from that list, I have a lot of
options of commands that can be dragged-and-dropped onto my toolbars. I get
how to do that. What's mystifying is that "autofit selection" seems to be
nowhere to be seen.

I know that I've had these buttons on my toolbars in a previous install of
Excel 2003, so I know that it's possible. What gives, do you think?

With the customize Toolbars dialog active you can get the command from the
original source - Format/Column/Autofit Selection -- instead of dragging it
to a new toolbar, hold the ctrl key down and you'll make a copy of it.
