Default Strange Page Break behaviour while AutoFilter enabled

Dear Community,
I'm having an Excel Sheet (XLS2003) for several years now in order to
organize certain payments for members of a yacht club. I'm making a copy for
each year, e.g. 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008.

Payments are assigned to different categories, e.g. entry fee, spendings,
cash receipts, bookkeeping, etc.

In order to have a more granular look at all the payments received in all
the different categories I implemented headlines for the corresponding
columns and activated the AutoFilter feature on the column "category".

The whole XLS consists of 20 pages, round about 700 rows. Print Preview
shows correct page breaks and as well as orientation and scaling.

As soon as I'm activating the AutoFilter something goes wrong. Filtering
works just fine, say for all bookkeeping payments. All rows are reduced to 68
rows. In Normal View all rows are positioned among each other. But as soon as
I change to Print Preview the Page Break stays identical to when AutoFilter
is disabled, i.e. 20 pages partly empty and partly containing a couple of
filtered rows.

Everything went just fine with my 2005 to 2007 versions of my XLS document.
AutoFilter and Page Break behaviour is normal. Filtering for bookkeeping
payments results in printing 3 pages without any empty or partly filled pages.

But my 2008 copy of the XLS document doesn't "work" anymore.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alex
