Add csv to Open "All Excel Files" (XL2007)
When you click on the Office Button in Excel 2007 and then click on Open, the
default dialog box is "Open All Excel Files." Excel will automatically open ..csv files, but .csv files are not among those that are displayed by default for selection. You have to go down to the lower right corner and change "All Excel Files" to "All Files (*.*)" in order to see .csv files that can be selected for opening. Is there some way to add .csv files to the list of files that are included in "All Excel Files"? It's strange that ".html" and ".htm" files are listed under "All Excel Files" (when most of them would open as gibberish), and ".csv" files are not included. Thanks. -- Jim (a.k.a. ORTNPALMS) |
