Default Text changing colour when bolded?

Hi there,

When using a spreadsheet I change the colour of the font so I can track what
has been done, or what needs to be done.

Only one issue...

When I change it to red and bold it, the colour changes to blue? And if I
change it to blue it goes red? And its just not red and blue I have these
issues with...

Help?

This should not happen.

Can you pl. share the steps you execute to change the Font and then Bold it?

Take a cell with text in it, change the colour to red and bold it, as soon as
it has been "bolded" it turns to blue. Only happens when I bold the text? It
happens with more than just the colour red?

I am not able to reproduce the problem.

You can check whether;
1. It happens with a particular FONT type or all fonts?
2. Only in Excel or with WORD etc too?

Try to make it BOLD first and then change the COLOR...

Seems to be a local corruption... first time I have heard of this type of
problem.
Try reinstalling Excel if it only happens in Excel and raise a ticket with MS.
