Default Referencing External Data

I have a dataset that is larger than what Excel can hold. (Approx 85,000
records). I have this stored in an Access table and would like to reference
this data from a formula on the Excel spreadsheet. Is this possible??? (I
do not use pivot tables because they are crap and have very limited
functionality and flexability.)

You could use MS Query to query the Access table to limit the return data.
