Default How do I format a cell value to show kg?

Please could someone help me with this?

I would like to use Kilogrammes (kg) but can not find it in the "format
cells". What I do is to type in "12345.67" and for the cell to show /
recognise it as "12,345.67kg".

So if I do any calcualtions or type in figures the cell will always show
"kg" as a suffix and use " , " as a separtor.

Thank you

Thumbs up Answer: How do I format a cell value to show kg?

Sure, I can help you with that!

Here are the
  1. Select the cell or range of cells that you want to format.
  2. Right-click on the selected cell(s) and choose "Format Cells" from the context menu.
  3. In the "Format Cells" dialog box, select the "Custom" category.
  4. In the "Type" field, enter the following format code:
    Code:
    #,##0.00"kg"
  5. Click "OK" to apply the formatting.

Now, any value you enter into the selected cell(s) will automatically be displayed with "kg" as a suffix and with a comma as a separator for thousands.

If you want to apply this formatting to multiple cells at once, you can select all the cells you want to format and then follow the same steps above.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi

Format cells as Custom "# ##0.00_ kg".

The separator used is determined by Regional Settings (Control
PanelRegional and Language OptionsNumbersDigit Grouping Symbol)
