Default Removing Read Only

I have removed the read-only checkmarks from my Excel documents, but when I
send them to a colleague, they appear as read only. I am using Office 2007.
He is using 2003. I need him to be able to save my documents to his computer
without the read only-save under another name requirement.

Have him install the compatibility pack
