Ensure your grades are entered/formatted as percentages, and ensure your
result cell is formatted as a percentage. Works fine for me. If your grades are NOT percentages, then you can just take your result and divide by 100. -- John C "TAV072" wrote: John, This is the formula: =IF(ISERROR(AVERAGE(Z56:AA61,AD56:AE61,AM56:AN61,A Q56:AR61)),"",AVERAGE(Z56:AA61,AD56:AE61,AM56:AN61 ,AQ56:AR61)) I work in a school and am trying to average out the achievement marks of students. So, 98.5%+82.3%+92.7% divided by 3 = 91.17% I hope that makes sense. Thanks TAV072 "John C" wrote: What is your formula in this cell? And what are the values that are contributing to the formula? -- John C "TAV072" wrote: We have a formula that is calculating an average of scores and when the answer appears, it appears like 9850.0% instead of 98.5%. How can we fix this? |
