I have a spreadsheet with dates shown as DD.MM.YYYY in text in a single
column but I would like this to be represented as 3 seperate columns. One for day, one for month and one for year. Does anyone know a formula or command to do this? Many thanks, Tony |

Try,
Data|Text to Coilumns Delimited Next Enter your delimiter in the box (.)? Click finish You may be making problems for your self if you want them to continue to be dates Mike "Tone" wrote: I have a spreadsheet with dates shown as DD.MM.YYYY in text in a single column but I would like this to be represented as 3 seperate columns. You could hide the original date column if you don't want to see it. |
