I have created a macro in a spreadsheet. is there a way to create a shortcut
on the spreadsheet that when clicked by another user that the macro will then
run without them having to go to tools, macros and run.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In xl2003 menus, you can show the the Forms toolbar
View|toolbars|Forms
then click on the button icon and use that to draw a button on the worksheet.

After you draw the button, you'll be asked to assign a macro to the button.

If you don't do it then, you can rightclick on the button and choose Assign
Macro later.
