Thank you. Anything is possible. I checked computer and it has been shut
down and rebooted more than once since issue has started. I do not see any unusual reboots that would indicate system crash. Where does one look for a "file flag"? -Cheri "Kevin B" wrote: Have the user that's indicated as the reserved party and ask that they do a complete shut down and reboot. Sounds like there's a file flag out there that's never been cleared. Is it possible that this individuals PC crashed or lost connectivity while this file was open? -- Kevin Backmann "Cheri" wrote: I have a password protected file stored on my network that I share with several people. When opening the file and receiving the enter password window, it says document is "reserved by" another user. I have contacted this person and verified indeed the document is not open by this person. I have checked for a possible corrupt temp file and do not find one. Where is this coming from? I have played with the Security and General tab trying different combinations to get this information to go away but having no luck. Although this doesn't cause problems with changing and saving the document, it is rathers annoying/confusing. How do I get rid of this informaion? |
