Why is "History" a "reserved name" while naming Excel worksheets?
If I try to rename a sheet from say "Sheet 1" to "History", I get an error
message stating "History is a reserved name". Why is this so? |

Why is "History" a "reserved name" while naming Excel worksheets?
Start a new (test) workbook and save it.
Turn on Tools|track changes make a few changes save the workbook Tools|track changes|highlight changes check the "list changes on a new sheet" box You'll see that you get a new sheet named History.
