Default Excel 2007 crashes with large linked Excel 2002 workbooks

I have a model comprising 4 linked workbooks, each around 15 MB, developed in
Excel 2002. They ran fine on my old PC, using Excel 2002 and XP. On my new
PC (which has a lot more RAM, faster processor, etc), using Excel 2007 and
Vista, they cause Excel to crash.

I am not having problems with small workbooks.

Any ideas? Thanks
